HAIR BALL® SHOW Rules:
  • Any salon or cosmetology school can enter the "performance art" show and become an ACTIVE SALON PARTNER.
  • To enter and become an ACTIVE SALON PARTNER:
    • Your salon or cosmetology school must pre-purchase 50 tickets at $15 each (typically) which you re-sell (typically for $20). When you sell them all you recoup your outlay of $750. No Active Salon Partner has ever - not sold all of their tickets! (Plus you collect an added $5 from each ticket sold for a charity, or you may keep it to help defray your costs!)
    • *Ticket prices are based on venue and other considerations*.
    • *Tickets are (typically*) $30 at the door*!
    • *Minimum 50 tickets = $250 to defray your costs, or a $250 donation*.
    • *When you sell all your tickets - your entry becomes free!*
      {Tickets will be made available approximately six weeks prior to show date}
  • The time allotted per "skit". (4 to 10 minutes)
  • Due to space in model rooms - no more than 22 models per salon "skit" but, your "skit" could have as few as one model.
  • Your salon or cosmetology school is responsible for obtaining your own models, clothing, materials and music used for "skit".
(You could add a clothing store as another presenter) (See below)
  • All performances must comply with city, state and federal laws.
  • All models must be 18 or older and sign a model/actor/actresses release and consent form - before being allowed in the model room or on stage.
  • Salons and cosmetology school must make their intentions to be a "presenter salon" to the producer at least 2 months prior to the show date.
  • Salons must present the skit idea and music to the producer at least 1 month prior to event.
  • A "burned" music CD containing the music to be used for the "skit" MUST be delivered to the producer at least one week prior to show date.
  • When a clothing store is involved a similar arrangement, ticket sales for involvement must be made as the store will get the same *FREE* advertising and either a donation to a charity, or defray their costs.

Asking clothing stores and designers to be involved is a part of this project. Clothing stores or clothing designers are sometimes necessary for the "skits" to be successful.

Salons or cosmetology schools may request a certain clothing store that they do not have a relationship with. We will make the first overture to the store for involvement, if asked. But the salons and cosmetology schools themselves are the ones that sell the idea to the store.
